Job Description
- Preparing and submitting billing data and medical claims to insurance companies.
- Ensuring the patient’s medical information is accurate and up to date.
- Knowledge of insurance guidelines, especially Medicare and state Medicaid
- Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe
- Collecting and reviewing referrals and pre-authorizations.
- Monitoring and recording late payments.
- Following up on missed payments and resolving financial discrepancies.
- Examining patient bills for accuracy and requesting any missing information.
- Investigating and appealing denied claims.
- Helping patients develop patient payment plans.
- Understanding of the entire medical billing process, insurance rules and regulations, and ability to enforce/abide by policies and procedures

- Perform end-to-end AR activities
- Review of insurance AR and prepare reports
- Identify issues related to denials / rejections
- Perform corrective actions to rebill and appeal
- Analyse patient receivables
- Follow up with payers and patients
- Perform denial management tasks
Job Requirements
- At least 2 Years of experience in accounts receivable follow-up and denial management in US healthcare domain
- Excellent verbal communication abilities
- Knowledge on Denials management and A/R fundamentals
- Willingness to work in night shifts
- Good knowledge of computers and medical billing software
- Knowledge of Healthcare terminology and ICD/CPT codes will be considered a plus
- A bachelor's degree in a business-related field
